Levels of ozone pollution can vary by\ntime and location depending on emissions and air pollution\ntransport.\n\n* WHEN...Friday, May 15, 2026 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The highest\nozone levels typically occur in the afternoon and early-evening\nhours.\n\n* IMPACTS... Ozone air pollution can cause serious health problems,\nincluding trouble breathing, asthma attacks, and lung damage.\nEveryone can be affected, but sensitive groups such as people with\nlung disease, older adults, people who are pregnant, children, and\nthose who spend a lot of time outdoors are at greater risk.\n\n## Instructions\nTo protect your health, check air quality levels and act as needed:\n\n* When Air Quality Index (AQI) levels are \"Unhealthy for\nSensitive Groups\" (orange), sensitive groups as specified\nabove should limit extended or intense outdoor activity.\n* When AQI is \"Unhealthy\" (red), everyone may experience health\nimpacts.
