The ongoing\ndrought has led to abnormally dry dead surface fuels across the\nregion. Min RH values of 25 to 30%, wind gusts to around 20 mph,\nand afternoon high temperatures in the low to mid 90s will lead to\nan increased fire danger from mid morning through early evening\ntoday. Conditions Sunday may be similar ahead of an approaching\ncold front, with an additional Increased Fire Danger statement\nlikely to be issued.\n\nResidents are urged to exercise caution handling any potential\nignition source...including machinery... cigarettes...and matches.\nBe sure to properly discard all smoking materials. Any dry grasses\nand tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread\nquickly."}
