Hazardous (Maroon) NowCast AQI (1-hour average)\nwill be possible.\n\nWHERE...Statewide.\n\nWHEN...From noon Tuesday until noon Thursday.\n\nPrecautionary/Preparedness Actions:\n\nFor Very Unhealthy (Purple) AQI:\nSensitive groups: Avoid all physical activity outdoors.\nReschedule to a time when air quality is better or move\nactivities indoors.\nPeople with asthma: Follow your asthma action plan and keep\nquick-relief medicine handy.\nPeople with heart disease: Symptoms such as palpitations,\nshortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a serious\nproblem. If you have any of these, contact your health care\nprovider.\nEveryone else: Limit outdoor physical activity. Go indoors if you\nhave symptoms.\n\nFor Unhealthy (Red) AQI:\nSensitive groups: Consider rescheduling or moving all activities\ninside. If you have any of these, contact your health\ncare provider.\n\nAdditional Details:\nTHIS ADVISORY WILL BE RE-EVALUATED THURSDAY MORNING AND WILL\nLIKELY BE EXTENDED FOR AT LEAST SOME PORTION OF THE STATE BEYOND\nNOON THURSDAY.\n\nSmoke from wildfires in Minnesota and Ontario will enter northern\nWI between 8 p.m. and midnight Tuesday night. The smoke will push\nsouth, approximately reaching an Eau Claire to Sheboygan line by\nnoon Wednesday. Smoke will continue south-southwest,\napproximately reaching a La Crosse to Janesville line by midnight\nWednesday night. Statewide impacts will be possible by 6 a.m.\nThursday. The heaviest smoke impacts, including the potential for\nHazardous (Maroon) NowCast AQI, are expected across northwest\nWisconsin, especially in communities along Lake Superior.
