The heavy\nrainfall and associated runoff will produce significant river rises\nwith the potential of minor flooding.\n\n* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be\npossible.\n\n* WHERE...The following area, Northern Inner Channels. This includes\nthe cities of Skagway and Haines.\n\n* WHEN...Through late tonight.\n\n* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,\ncreeks, streams, other low-lying areas and flood-prone locations.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- A series of lows will bring a prolonged period of rain combined\nwith warmer temperatures aloft allowing for any precipitation\nfalling into the region to remain as rain. Showers will continue\nto move through the area this afternoon and evening. Some of\nthese showers could be heavy at times\n\nFor the Skagway area, Up to an inch of rain is still possible\nthrough this afternoon into the overnight hours tonight. The\nHaines area could see anywhere from 0.5 to 1 inch of rain during\nthe same time period.\n\n## Instructions\nStay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio,\ntelevision, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.\n\nPersons living along streams should stay alert and be prepared to\ntake action if a warning or advisory is issued, or flooding is\nobserved.\n\nYou should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood\nWarnings.
