For the Coastal Flood Statement, from Wednesday\nafternoon through Wednesday evening.\n\n* IMPACTS...Brief minor flooding of the more vulnerable\nlocations near the waterfront and shoreline. Life-\nthreatening rip currents are likely for all people entering\nthe surf zone. Anyone visiting the beaches should stay out of\nthe surf. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away\nfrom shore into deeper water.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The high rip current risk is expected to\npersist through late week.\n\n## Instructions\nDo not drive through flooded roadways.\n\nIf you enter the surf zone, always have a flotation device with\nyou and swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax\nand float, and do not swim against the current. If able, swim in\na direction following the shoreline.
