This includes the\ncities of Kodiak City, Port Lions, Ouzinkie, Old Harbor.\n\n* WHEN...From Monday morning through Wednesday morning.\n\n* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff from heavy rain may result in flooding\nof rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone\nlocations, including Bells Flats. Expected heavy rain may saturate\nsoils resulting in isolated landslides in areas of steep terrain.\nStrong east to northeast winds gusting to near 60 mph at times may\nalso result in downed trees due to saturated soils.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- An unseasonably strong North Pacific low south of Kodiak\nIsland is expected to bring an atmospheric river of moisture\nacross Kodiak Island Monday morning through Tuesday night. 2\nto 4 inches of rain is possible along the eastern coast of\nthe island with 3 to 6 inches of rain possible for the higher\nterrain. 1 inch or less of rain is possible across the\nwestern coast of the island.
