Flooding impacts will\ncontinue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is\nongoing or expected to begin shortly.\n\nExcessive rainfall over the burn scar will impact the Gavilan Canyon\nand Rio Ruidoso drainages. Impacts will include but are not limited\nto all nearby reservoirs, bridges, culverts and roadways. Impacts to\nareas along the Rio Ruidoso may extend downstream of Ruidoso Downs.\nThe debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose\nmaterials.\n\nHAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing\nflash flooding in and around the McBride Burn Scar.\n\nSOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.\n\nIMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the\nMcBride Burn Scar.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nRuidoso, Ruidoso Downs, Glencoe and Hollywood.\n\n## Instructions\nThis is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause\nextensive and severe flash flooding of creeks, streams and ditches in\nthe McBride Burn Scar. Severe debris flows can also be anticipated\nacross roads. Roads and driveways may be washed away in places. If\nyou encounter flood waters, climb to safety."}
