Wind\nprone areas along Highway 395 between Janesville and Doyle may gust\nup to 65 mph at times.\n\n* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.\n\n* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 2 AM PDT Sunday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Strong crosswinds will create difficult driving\nconditions for high profile vehicles along Highway 395, especially\nnear Honey Lake. Boating conditions will be hazardous due to rough\nwaters on area lakes, including Eagle Lake, Honey Lake, Lake Davis,\nFrenchman Lake, and Stampede Reservoir. Winds will blow around\nunsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power\noutages may result.\n\n## Instructions\nNow is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio furniture\nand trash cans before winds increase which could blow these items\naway. The best thing to do is prepare ahead of time by making sure\nyou have extra food and water on hand, flashlights with spare\nbatteries and/or candles in the event of a power outage.\n\nCheck lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden\nincrease in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating\nactivities on the lake until a day with less wind."}
