Wave heights of 2 to\n4 feet on Lake Tahoe.\n\n* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.\n\n* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 2 AM PDT Sunday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Gusty winds and rough waters will create hazardous\nboating conditions on area lakes, including Lake Tahoe, Boca and\nProsser Creek reservoirs, Independence Lake, and Donner Lake. Winds\nwill blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down\nand a few power outages may result.\n\n## Instructions\nNow is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio furniture\nand trash cans before winds increase which could blow these items\naway. The best thing to do is prepare ahead of time by making sure\nyou have extra food and water on hand, flashlights with spare\nbatteries and/or candles in the event of a power outage.\n\nCheck lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a sudden\nincrease in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing boating\nactivities on the lake until a day with less wind."}
