Flooding of lots, parks, and\nroads possible.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Localized minor coastal flooding will be\npossible during times of high tide mainly near Galveston Bay.\nWater levels are expected to be around 3.5 to 4.0 ft above\nMLLW during high tide cycles going into early next week. At\n3.7ft, water may begin to reach Highway 87 at Highway 124 on\nBolivar Peninsula, and on Beach Drive near Blue Water Highway\nin Surfside. At 4.0ft, water may start to flood portions of\nHighway 6 between I-45 and Hitchcock. Water may also start to\nflood portions of Toddville road, Red Bluff road, West\nBayshore road, and Highway 124 near High Island. The lowest\nstreets along Jamaica Beach may flood.\n\n## Instructions\nSwim near a lifeguard and away from rocks, jetties, and piers. If\ncaught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the\ncurrent. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If\nunable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.\n\nIf travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be\nclosed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of\nunknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone\nproperty."}
