For the\nExtreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index\nvalues up to 109 expected.\n\n* WHERE...Portions of north central, northwest, and west central\nMinnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.\n\n* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 9 PM CDT this evening. For the\nExtreme Heat Warning, from 8 AM Sunday to 1 AM CDT Tuesday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during\nextreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high\nhumidity may cause heat illnesses.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overnight relief Sunday night into Monday\nmorning will be minimal, with overnight low temperatures remaining\nin the mid to upper 70s along with high humidity.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.\n\nDo not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car\ninteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.\n\nTake extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose\nfitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning\nor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and\nheat stroke.\n\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat\nshould be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an\nemergency! Call 9 1 1.\n\nIf you do not have air conditioning in your home or lack shelter,\nyou can call 211 for assistance locating appropriate shelter from\nthe heat."}
