For the High Surf Advisory,\nlarge breaking waves of up to 10 feet in the surf zone. For\nthe High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.\n\n* WHERE...Coastal Ocean.\n\n* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Warning, until 2 PM EDT Sunday.\nFor the High Surf Advisory, until 8 PM EDT Sunday. For the\nHigh Rip Current Risk, through Sunday evening.\n\n* IMPACTS...At this level, flooding may become severe enough to\ncause structural damage along with widespread roadway flooding\nin coastal and bayside communities, and near inland tidal\nwaterways. Some locations may become isolated by the flood\nwaters. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and\nlocalized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best\nswimmers away from shore into deeper water.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Significant beach erosion is expected.\nBreaching of sand dunes is possible.\n\n## Instructions\nA Coastal Flood Warning means that moderate or major tidal\nflooding is occurring or imminent. Be prepared for rising water\nlevels and take appropriate action to protect life and property.\nFollow the recommendations of local emergency management\nofficials.\n\nDo not drive your vehicle through flood waters. The water may be\ndeeper than you think it is. You will be putting yourself in\ndanger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly\nrepairs.\n\nVisit the National Water Prediction Service at\nhttps://water.noaa.gov/wfo/phi for additional water level and\nflood impact information for your local tide gauge.\n\nInexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to\ndangerous surf conditions.\n\nAlways obey posted Beach Flags. If you enter the surf zone,\nalways have a floatation device with you and swim near a\nlifeguard if possible. If caught in a rip current, relax and\nfloat and do not swim against the current. If able, swim parallel\nto the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or\nwave for help."}
