This will pose a moderate risk\nof heat-related illness. For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 20\nto 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.\n\n* WHERE...Kittitas Valley.\n\n* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, until 9 PM PDT this evening. For the\nWind Advisory, from 5 PM this afternoon to 1 AM PDT Friday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree\nlimbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Hot\ntemperatures may cause heat illnesses.\n\n## Instructions\nWinds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high\nprofile vehicles. Use extra caution.\n\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and\npets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any\ncircumstances.\n\nTake extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When\npossible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or\nevening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat\nstroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible.\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments.
