This will pose a moderate\nto major risk of heat-related illness.\n\n* WHERE...In Oregon, Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of\nOregon, Grande Ronde Valley, and Wallowa County. In Washington,\nYakima Valley, Lower Columbia Basin of Washington, and Foothills\nof the Blue Mountains of Washington.\n\n* WHEN...Until 9 PM PDT this evening.\n\n* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Young children and\npets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any\ncircumstances.\n\nTake extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When\npossible reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or\nevening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat\nstroke. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing when possible.\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments.
