Expect wind damage to\nroofs, siding, and trees.\n\nThis severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of north\ncentral Rankin and south central Madison Counties.\n\n## Instructions\nFor your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a\nbuilding.\n\nIf on or near Ross Barnett Reservoir, get away from the water and\nmove indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out\nto 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder,\nyou are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter\nnow!
