River or stream\nflows are elevated.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 126 PM CDT Tuesday, Minor flooding and high water levels\nare already occurring.\n- This includes the following streams and drainages...\nOyster River, Ge-be-on-e-quet Creek, Horse River, Shohola\nCreek, Hustler River, Moose River, Jeanette Creek, Wolfpack\nCreek, Nugget Creek, Heritage Creek, Portage River, Range\nLine Creek and Legend Creek.\n\n- Some locations that will experience flooding include...\nBasswood Lake, northwestern Boundary Waters Canoe Area\nWilderness, Lake Agnes, Crooked Lake, Fourtown Lake, Lac la\nCroix, Lac La Croix and Loon Lake.\n\n- Flood safety information can be found at\nwww.weather.gov/safety/flood.\n\n## Instructions\nCampers and hikers should avoid flooded trail crossings. If camping\nat a site along or near the banks of rivers or streams, move away\nfrom those locations and seek higher ground. Trails in hilly terrain\ncan quickly become unstable during or shortly after heavy rainfall.\n\nPortage and hiking trails may be impassable and low-lying campsites\nmay be inundated with excessive runoff in this section of the\nBoundary Waters as flooding is occurring or imminent.\n\nReport observed flooding to local emergency services or law\nenforcement and to the National Weather Service in Duluth when you\ncan do so safely.
