Potential thunderstorms could produce\ndangerous lightning.\n\n* WHERE...San Luis Obispo County Beaches, Santa Barbara County\nCentral Coast Beaches, Santa Barbara County Southwestern\nCoast, Santa Barbara County Southeastern Coast, Ventura County\nBeaches, Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches.\n\n* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Wednesday evening.\n\n* IMPACTS...There is an increased risk of ocean drowning. Rip\ncurrents can pull swimmers and surfers out to sea. Waves can\nwash people off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats\nnearshore. Lightning strikes can harm individuals that are\nstruck.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A south to southwest swell will affect\nthe coastal waters through the week. With the longer period\nswell, the potential for larger surf and a greater risk for\nrip currents will be likely. High tides are expected to\ncontinue through this weekend with Monday being the peak of\n7.0 to 7.6 ft above MLLW. With the high tides and south swell,\nthere is the potential for some minor coastal flooding in low\nlying areas. Another concern will be the potential for\nlightning starting Sunday with a 10-20% of thunderstorms\npossible.\n\n## Instructions\nRemain out of the water due to hazardous swimming conditions, or\nstay near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly\nin such conditions, stay off the rocks.\n\nSeek shelter inside a fully enclosed building or car with metal\nroof if lightning is in the area and wait until the lightning has\nleft the area."}
