Between 1 and 2.25 inches of rain have\nfallen, and additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible\nin the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin\nshortly.\n\nHAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.\n\nSOURCE...Radar indicated.\n\nIMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,\nhighways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor\ndrainage and low-lying areas.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nRed Hill.\n\nThis includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 7 and 17.\n\n## Instructions\nDo not drive your vehicle into areas where water covers the roadway.\nThe water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely.\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood\ndeaths occur in vehicles.\n\nIn hilly or mountainous terrain there are numerous low water\ncrossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not\nattempt to cross flooded roads.
