Between\n0.6 and 0.8 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already\noccurring with multiple mudslides reported around 3:45 pm MDT along\nHighway 145 between Norwood Hill and Placerville resulting in a\nclosure of Highway 145 between mile markers 85 and 96.\n\nHAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing\nflash flooding.\n\nSOURCE...Radar.\n\nIMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,\nurban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nNorwood and Placerville, including areas along Highway 145.\n\n## Instructions\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood\ndeaths occur in vehicles.\n\nHighway 145 between Norwood Hill and Placerville is prone to\nrockslides and mudslides in heavy rain.
