Up\nto 0.7 inches of rain have fallen in the Muddy Creek Basin with up to\na half inch falling across a larger portion of the southern Aspen\nAcres Burn scars. Flooding impacts will continue until the water has\na chance to recede. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin\nshortly. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris\nflow. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other\nloose materials.\n\nHAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing\nflash flooding in and around the Middle and South Aspen\nAcres Burn Scar.\n\nSOURCE...Radar indicated.\n\nIMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the\nMiddle and South Aspen Acres Burn Scar.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nRye, San Isabel, Beulah and Colorado City.\n\nThis includes the following high risk locations...\nBeulah Water Intake.\n\nThis includes the following streams and drainages...\nSaint Charles River, Muddy Creek and its tributaries, Spring Branch\nand South Creek and its tributaries.\n\n## Instructions\nThis is a life threatening situation. Heavy rainfall will cause\nextensive and severe flash flooding of creeks...streams...and ditches\nin the Middle and South Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Severe debris flows\ncan also be anticipated across roads. Roads and driveways may be\nwashed away in places. If you encounter flood waters...climb to\nsafety."}
