The storms may produce damaging winds, large hail,\nfrequent cloud- to- ground lightning, and locally heavy rainfall.\nThunderstorms could happen as early as 300 pm with the most\nlikely time for thunderstorms between between 500 pm and midnight.\n\nNow is the time to prepare in case thunderstorms threaten.\nCampers should take extra precautions now in order to secure\ncampsites and make a plan in case of severe weather. For strong\nwinds, try to keep your tent away from large or decayed trees.\nFor large hail, use your well-tied down canoe or tent for\nshelter. For lightning, sit on your personal floatation devices\nor sleeping pads and avoid putting your tent on top of exposed\ntree roots to minimize your risk.
