For the\nHeat Advisory, heat index values up to 104 expected.\n\n* WHERE...Bedford, Blair, and Fulton Counties.\n\n* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT Thursday. For\nthe Heat Advisory, from 8 PM Thursday to 8 PM EDT Friday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during\nextreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high\nhumidity may cause heat illnesses.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High temperatures will be well into the 90s\nand may hit 100 degrees. Heat index values will be even higher.\nWhile temperatures will remain hot on Saturday, they should be a\ncouple of degrees lower.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an\nair-conditioned room.\n\nReview heat safety and preparedness information at\nweather.gov/safety/heat.\n\nPower outages are possible during periods of extended heat as the\nextra demand for electricity can tax the power grid.
