Minor\nflooding developing on the lower Wabash is possible as well, but\nconfidence is lower there. Locally higher amounts may cause rises\nthat are higher than current crests indicate, and those with\ninterests along area rivers should keep updated with the latest\ninformation as additional forecasts and warnings are issued.\n\n* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.\n\n* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.\n\n* WHEN...From this evening to Monday evening.\n\n* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Water is at critical levels for makeshift\nlevees.  Most of bottomlands flood.  Old Vincennes road and State\nRoad 358 between Plainville and Edwardsport are impassable by\nseveral feet.  High water surrounds river cabins.  This type of\nflood occurs on average about once a year.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- At 7:00 AM EDT Tuesday /6:00 AM CDT Tuesday/ the stage was\n12.8 feet.\n- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage\nthis evening to a crest of 20.6 feet early Thursday\nafternoon.
