Trees are still mostly green and fully\nleafed, causing them to be more vulnerable to damage from the\nstrong winds.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong fall storm system moving into the\nwestern coast of Alaska will produce a prolonged period of strong\nand gusty winds across the Anchorage area.  Winds will initially\ndevelop out of the southeast on Tuesday morning as strong winds\nalong the Turnagain Arm bend into town.  The strongest winds will\nbe focused on the south and west side of town until winds turn out\nof the south and spread into the rest of the Anchorage Bowl Tuesday\nafternoon.  Winds will then slowly diminish through Wednesday\nmorning.\n\n## Instructions\nWinds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high\nprofile vehicles.
