Drier weather\narrives Friday and Saturday, though winds will become increasingly\ngusty with critical fire weather conditions likely.\n\nThe National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Fire Weather\nWatch for winds and low humidity, which is in effect from\nSaturday morning through Saturday evening.\n\n* Affected Area: Northern and Central Idaho Panhandle (Zone\n101), Selkirk Mountains of Northeast Washington (Zone 700),\nFoothills of Northeast Washington (Zone 701), Eastern Columbia\nBasin  -Palouse  -Spokane Area (Zone 708) and Lower Palouse  -\nSnake River (Zone 709).\n\n* Winds: Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.\n\n* Timing: Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon\n\n* Relative Humidities: 15 to 25 percent across the lower\nelevations, with 23 to 35 percent at the higher elevations.\n\n* Temperatures: Up to 93.\n\n* Impacts: Gusty winds and low humidity Saturday afternoon may\nlead to rapid fire spread with any new or ongoing fires.\n\n## Instructions\nA Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions\nare forecast to occur.
