Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding\nis already occurring.\n\nHAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.\n\nSOURCE...Emergency management reported.\n\nIMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,\nhighways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor\ndrainage and low-lying areas.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nMount Pleasant, Downtown Charleston, West Ashley, Charles Towne\nLanding, Medical University Of South Carolina, Marion Square,\nColumbus Street Terminal and The Citadel.\n\nCity of Charleston Emergency Management reported several roads closed\nacross the peninsula due to flash flooding. Also, a flood inundation\nsensor on Ogier Street near Calhoun Street indicates over 1 foot of\nwater on the road. However, heavy rainfall has ended and no\nadditional flooding is expected. The warning will remain in effect\nuntil ongoing flooding subsides.\n\n## Instructions\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
