Creeks and\nstreams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be\nflooded. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood\nwith more heavy rain.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...\n- A strong storm projected to move into the eastern Bering Sea will\nbring heavy rainfall and storm surge to the area. The Kuskokwim\nRiver is currently running high, with statistics showing the\nriver is already above the 90th percentile in flow for this time\nof year. 1 to 2 inches of rainfall across the Kilbuck Mountains,\nas well as across the lower Kuskokwim, is likely to exacerbate\nhigh water levels for the Kwethluk River, Johnson River / tundra\nvillages, as well as other smaller tributaries and sloughs of the\nKuskokwim.\n\nConfidence is moderate-to-high that flooding of low-lying areas\nwill occur for Kwethluk and Kasigluk, where high-water was\nreported last week. Confidence is lower for flooding elsewhere\nand will be dependent on the rainfall amount and degree of\ncompounding effects from coastal surge and tide cycle.\n\n- Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood\n\n## Instructions\nStay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio,\ntelevision, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.\n\nYou should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood\nWarnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared\nto take action should flooding develop."}
