For the Heat\nAdvisory, heat index values up to 104 expected. For the second\nExtreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index\nvalues up to 108 expected.\n\n* WHERE...Eastern Grant and Eastern Mineral Counties.\n\n* WHEN...For the first Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM EDT this\nevening. For the Heat Advisory, from 10 AM to 8 PM EDT Thursday.\nFor the second Extreme Heat Warning, from 10 AM to 8 PM EDT Friday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during\nextreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high\nhumidity may cause heat illnesses.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.\n\nDo not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car\ninteriors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.\n\nTake extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose\nfitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning\nor evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and\nheat stroke.\n\nTo reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and\nHealth Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in\nshaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat\nshould be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an\nemergency! Call 9 1 1."}
