Rainfall totals may approach 15\ninches near the center of Tropical Storm Bavi. Widespread heavy\nshowers and isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible as Bavi\nlooks to cross the Marianas sometime late Sunday through Monday. Bavi\nwill be very closely monitored and estimates of rainfall, as well as\nforecast track and time of arrival, may change.\n\nAs showers are likely to persist, consistent rainfall is likely to\nproduce flash floods and saturate the soils enough to increase chance\nfor mudslides.\n\nResidents of the Marianas need to closely monitor this developing\nsituation as flood watches, advisories and flash flood warnings could\nbe issued later.\n\nIf living near streams and rivers, prepare to move items away from\nstream and river banks. Make sure storm drains nearby are not\nclogged, especially If living at low-lying areas."}
