For the Wind Advisory, north\nwinds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.\n\n* WHERE...Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties.\n\n* WHEN...For the Lake Wind Advisory, until 11 AM PDT Sunday. For the\nWind Advisory, from 11 AM to 11 PM PDT Sunday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree\nlimbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.\nBlowing dust downwind of desert sinks may reduce visibilities.\nSmall boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to capsizing\nand should remain off lake waters until conditions improve.\n\n## Instructions\nNow is the time to secure loose outdoor items such as patio\nfurniture and trash cans before winds increase which could blow\nthese items away. The best thing to do is prepare ahead of time by\nmaking sure you have extra food and water on hand, flashlights with\nspare batteries and/or candles in the event of a power outage.\n\nWinds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high\nprofile vehicles. Use extra caution.\n\nCheck lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a\nsudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing\nboating activities on the lake until a day with less wind."}
