Please listen closely for any Flood Warnings that might\nbe in effect for your area.\n\nPlease check the latest public and marine forecasts for detailed\ninformation about additional hazards.\n\n.STORM INFORMATION...\nAt 2 AM ChST...the center of Typhoon Bavi (09W) was located near\nlatitude 12.8N...longitude 152.7E. This was about 530 miles east\nof Guam. Storm motion was west, 265 degrees, at 12 mph. Storm\nintensity was 145 mph.\n\n.SITUATION OVERVIEW...\nIt is too early to provide exact wind and surge forecast values for\nspecific locations. However, close to the center of Typhoon Bavi,\nthere will be a possibility of catastrophic damage somewhere within\nGuam and the Northern Marianas. Additionally, flooding and coastal\ninundation will also be concerns.\n\n## Instructions\nStay calm and keep informed. Comply with any evacuation orders that\nare issued for your area. Seek sturdy shelter, in a cave if\nnecessary.\n\nItems to bring to a shelter include a first aid kit, medicines and\nprescriptions, baby food and diapers, games and books, toiletries, a\nbattery powered radio, a cell phone, flashlights with extra\nbatteries, a blanket or sleeping bag for each person, personal\nidentification, copies of key papers such as insurance policies,\navailable cash and credit cards.\n\nRegarding your home or business, cover all windows and doors with\nshutters or plywood. Move patio furniture and other loose objects\nindoors. Brace all exterior doors, including garage doors. Do this\nas early as possible."}
