People at\nrisk include infants and young children, people with heart or lung\ndisease, older adults and pregnant people.\n\nPeople can take the following precautions to protect their health:\n\n* Follow local burn restrictions to prevent deteriorating air\nquality.\n* Avoid strenuous outdoor activity during periods of poor air\nquality.\n* People with heart or lung problems and young children are\nespecially vulnerable.
