Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen, and it will take\nsome time for flood waters to subside.\n\nHAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing\nflash flooding.\n\nSOURCE...Emergency management reported.\n\nIMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban\nareas, highways, streets and underpasses.\n\nSome locations that will experience flash flooding include...\nZuni Pueblo, Black Rock, Ramah, Pescado and Chi Chil Tah.\n\n## Instructions\nTurn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood\ndeaths occur in vehicles.\n\nBe aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.\n\nArroyos, streams, and normally dry rivers can become raging killer\ncurrents in a matter of minutes. Water in arroyos can travel many\nmiles and take hours to reach your location from upstream rain areas."}
