For the\nBeach Hazards Statement, a high risk of rip currents. For the\nCoastal Flood Warning, one to two feet of inundation above\nground level expected in low- lying areas near shorelines and\ntidal waterways.\n\n* WHERE...In Maryland, the Maryland Beaches. In Virginia,\nAccomack and Northampton Counties.\n\n* WHEN...For the Beach Hazards Statement, through Thursday\nevening. For the High Surf Advisory, until 6 PM EDT Thursday.\nFor the Coastal Flood Warning, until 4 AM EDT Friday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Widespread flooding of vulnerable areas will result in\nan elevated threat of property damage to homes and businesses\nnear the waterfront and shoreline. Water will be 1 to 2 feet\nabove ground level in some areas resulting in a sufficient depth\nto close numerous roads and threaten homes and businesses.\nFlooding will extend inland from the waterfront along tidal\nrivers and bays resulting in some road closures and flooding of\nvehicles.\n\n## Instructions\nTake the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If\ntravel is required, do not drive around barricades or through\nwater of unknown depth.\n\nInexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to\ndangerous surf conditions.\n\nRemain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions."}
