For the Heat Advisory, heat\nindex values up to 100-105 expected.\n\n* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kansas and north central, northeast,\nand northwest Missouri.\n\n* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 9 PM CDT Friday. For the\nHeat Advisory, from 9 PM Friday to 8 PM CDT Saturday.\n\n* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during\nextreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high\nhumidity may cause heat illnesses.\n\n* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Several days of extreme heat will impact the\nregion with poor heat relief during the overnight hours.\n\n## Instructions\nDrink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of\nthe sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.\n\nTake extra precautions when outside.
