## Narrative

An employee was operating a pacer (forklift type equipment). When he made a turn, he lost control of the pacer and stuck his foot out to brace for impact. Upon impact, his foot was caught between the guardrail and the pacer resulting in several fracture toes in his left foot. He was admitted to the hospital for surgery.
