## Narrative

An employee was attempting to attach a lifting clamp to a steel flange plate when the plate fell approximately 6 inches, pinching his fingertip between the ground and the plate. As he pulled his hand out of the pinch point, the fleshy part of his fingertip ripped off of his finger.
