## Narrative

An employee had been using a stone saw to cut granite countertops. After making a cut, the employee used a suction cup to pull a cut countertop toward them. The material dropped onto the table, and the employee's left thumb was caught between the two objects. The thumb was amputated from the first knuckle down.
