## Narrative

An employee put a repaired motor back on a stamping press and was turning the belts to make sure they were all lined up in the groove. His hand became caught between the motor pulley and belt. He sustained a crushing injury with an open distal phalanx fracture and a nail and nailbed injury to the left index fingertip.
