## Narrative

An employee was boring holes using a milling machine, along the bottom of an amphibious transport dock ship. He was also checking alignment measurements on the intermediate strut of the ship. He stepped down from an upper level work platform and fell to a catwalk below. The employee then rolled under the bottom railing of the catwalk and fell 8 feet to a concrete surface. He sustained broken ribs, a fractured right wrist, and a head laceration.
