An employee was on a delivery truck, rigging bridge beams to be unloaded. The employee was on a beam, connecting the shackle of the rigging to the beam, when the beam and the employee's left ring finger were caught between the 35-ton shackle and the lifting eye. The finger was crushed from the fingertip to the first knuckle.
