Probable cause

a loss of engine power due to oil starvation. The oil starvation was due to the seizure and failure of the turbine element oil pump shaft, which was caused by debris from a failed bearing seizing the pump. A factor in the accident was the lack of a suitable place to land following the loss of engine power.
