U.S. EPA is resolving violations at the 3M Company's Cordova, IL facility under the Pharma-MACT (40 CFR 63 Subpart GGG). The violations were discovered during 2 inspections (1 initial in June 2003, and 1 follow-up to a 113 Conference) of the source in June 2003. Two Findings of Violations (FOVs) were sent to 3M alleging the violations discovered through the inspections. A penalty amount of $110,000 was agreed on along with compliance activities and a SEP Project to mitigate a portion of the penalty. There are 2 Case Conclusion Data Sheets: 1 to address the compliance activities in the Administrative Consent Order and 1 to address the penalty and SEP in the Consent Agreement and Final Order.
