Summary

Holmes Oil Company CWA-06-2005-1767 OKU000529 VIOLATIONS: The Respondent's tank battery was a point source of discharge of pollutants, specifically oil field brine, to the receiving waters of a tributary of Salt Creek, located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 15 North, Range 8 East, Creek County, Oklahoma. The discharge of brine was documented during an October 28, 2004 inspection. RELIEF: The Order specifies that the Respondent should cease all discharges of pollutants, remove a drain pipe, rebuild secondary containment, install a sump pump to remove collected fluids, and repair or replace equipment as needed to improve operations and maintenance. A follow-up inspection will determine the extent of compliance with the Order. Casey Luckett Snyder 3-2112
