Violation: The Respondent's oil field facility was a point source discharge of a pollutant to a waters of the US. The facility was inspected by the EPA on June 4, 2009, the inspector observed where oil field brine had been discharged from a manfold to a tributary of Hominy Creek and to Hominy Creek. Fluids located in the tributary of Hominy Creek measured 16,500 parts-per-million total soluble salts.
Relief: An Administrative Order is being issued to the Respondent requirng them to: cease all discharges of polltants from the facility; remove all brine from the flow path located between the facility and Hominy Creek; and submit written certification within 30 days.
