On January 11, 2012, EPA Region 1 issued an access order pursuant to CERCLA Section 104(e) at the Raymark Superfund Site. EPA is conducting investigations related to potential vapor intrusion from a VOC-contaminated groundwater plume emanating from the former Raymark Industries manufacturing plant. EPA issued the Order to obtain access to one restaurant to conduct indoor air monitoring and shallow groundwater sampling. EPA is conducting such sampling at approximately eight commercial establishments.
