On April 16, 2018, Region 10 issued an Administrative Complaint alleging that CAFCO failed to comply with the lead-based paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule (RRP Rule) under TSCA. The RRP Rule requires contractors performing, offering or claiming to perform renovation work on pre-1978 target housing must be certified as an RRP Firm. CAFCO failed to obtain firm certification prior to offering to perform renovation work. The Complaint alleges a violation of the RRP Rule Requirements at nine residential properties in Idaho.
