On June 20, 2024, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order CAFO) to Tx Syn Laboratories, LLC, located in San Antonio, Texas, for violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The CAFO was issued in response to violations regarding the sale of unregistered pesticides (187 counts), pursuant to Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, and producing pesticides in an unregistered establishment, pursuant to Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA. Respondent agreed to a civil penalty of $100,000, in two $50,000 installments, and has certified by the signing of the CAFO that it is now in full compliance with FIFRA.
