Abstract
EPA is finalizing a limited approval and limited disapproval of revisions to the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). This action was proposed in the Federal Register on March 2, 2000 and concerns oxide of nitrogen (NO<INF>x</INF>) emissions from cement kilns. Under authority of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act), this action simultaneously approves local rules that regulate these emission sources and directs California to correct rule deficiencies.
