This regulation establishes a tolerance for residues of 1.0 ppm of prallethrin (RS)-2-methyl-4-oxo-3- (2-propynyl)cyclopent-2-enyl (1RS)-cis, trans-chrysanthemate in or on all food items in food handling establishments where food and food products are held, processed, prepared, and/or served. McLaughlin Gormley King Company requested this tolerance under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended by the Food Quality Protection Act of 1996.
